Summer Practice Package

Current Students Entering Group 7 & 8 Only

This package is only available for current Happy Learning students who will be entering Group 7 or Group 8 next school year.

The Summer Practice Package is a lighter alternative to summer classes. It is meant for students who still need structure and practice during the summer, but who are not taking live summer classes.

Package Options

4-Week Package: $80

July 1 – July 26

Recommended for most students who need summer practice and structure.

6-Week Package: $120

June 15 – July 26

For students who need extra practice, more structure, or an earlier start.

Both options end before regular Happy Learning classes start again in August.

What Is Included?

The Summer Practice Package includes independent online practice in:

Vocabulary Quizlet study sets
Spelling practice
Verb practice
Irregular verbs where needed
Reading comprehension
Weekly submission check
One reminder to the parent if the work has not been completed

Students will work independently online. This package does not include live lessons or weekly check-ins.

Quizlet Vocabulary Tests

Vocabulary Quizlet study sets will be assigned on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Qtest (Quizlet test) will open at 8:00 AM. Parents are responsible for monitoring when their child completes the test.

Students must upload their Qtest results in Google Classroom, as they are already used to doing, so their results can be viewed.

Weekly Homework Deadline

All work must be completed and/or uploaded by:

Sunday at 12:00 PM

I will check submissions between:

Sunday 12:00 PM and Monday 12:00 PM

If the work is incomplete, you as a parent will receive one reminder.

Work submitted after Monday at 12:00 PM will not be checked

Please note: This is a submission check only. I will check whether the assigned work and required uploads have been completed. If I notice consistent difficulties, the work may be slightly adjusted or reset for the student to try again. Full reassignments and detailed corrections are not included.

Not Included in the Basic Package

The basic package does not include:

Live lessons
Weekly check-ins
Detailed correction of every assignment
Personal tutoring
Daily reminders
Extra self-checking practice games
Extra creative assignments
Reading check or book reports

15-Minute Online Check-In

4 weeks: +$40
6 weeks: +$60

Short online check-in for accountability, questions, or quick support.

30-Minute Support Session

$20 per session

Extra help with a specific topic.

Extra Self-Checking Practice Games

4 weeks: +$25
6 weeks: +$35

Optional interactive games for extra vocabulary, spelling, or verb practice.

Add-ons are optional and subject to availability.

Support Availability

Optional check-ins and support sessions are scheduled by appointment on:

Tuesdays and Fridays between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM

Spots are limited.

Optional Book Borrowing

Students may borrow a book for free during the summer. This is optional and is meant to encourage reading.

Reading is not part of the checked homework for this package.

Books are limited per level and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
