Happy Learning works with clear agreements, for the benefit of your child and a smooth collaboration between parents, student and teacher. Please read everything carefully before enrolling.
Our school year at Happy Learning starts on August 1st, two weeks before schools reopen on Sint Maarten. We use those two weeks to get ahead of the curriculum, so your child is prepared and never behind. We work with all the methods used on the island, which allows us to preteach exactly what is coming.
We end around mid-June, approximately two weeks before the official end of the school year. In those final weeks, reports are out and exams are done, and kids are in full chill mode. We choose to end productively rather than push through when focus is gone.
The result: the same number of quality lessons, just timed smarter.
Before You Enroll – A Few Important Things to Know
Headset is mandatory — without it, there is no entry to class. Please have a backup headset ready.
Laptop or desktop only — no tablets or phones for Zoom classes.
A quiet space is required — for your child’s concentration and the privacy of all students.
Plus Package is mandatory for all Group 7 & 8 and exam year students.
Group classes are a commitment for the full school year.
Private classes require 2 months written notice via email to discontinue.
From February onward, discontinuation is no longer possible.
Ready to join?
Spots are limited and filled in order of registration. When a spot becomes available, you will be contacted with available days and times. If these do not work for you, we will move to the next person on the list. When a spot is confirmed, you will receive the registration form which includes additional required documents.
Please note: a Gmail account is required for registration and access to the online learning environment.
